When Weichert realtor Charlie Nedder went to give an appraisal on the home of Marla Allison Leamon, it was love at first sight, for the homeowner as well as the realtor. They went to dinner that night and the rest is history. Charlie proposed over a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day.

The ceremony took place at St. John’s Catholic Church in Darien with the groom’s cousin Father Iain MacLellan, O.S.B. from Saint Anselm Abbey, and the Reverend Ian Cron from Trinity Church presiding. A reception followed at the Riverside Yacht Club, where the theme was the Starfish story, the AmeriCares motto. The couple made a donation to AmeriCares on behalf of every guest.

The bride graduated from Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest, Illinois, and the University of Connecticut. She is a personal assistant to a family in Rye, New York, and a real estate agent with Weichert Realtors. Her parents are Rita and Jerry Leamon of Cos Cob.

The groom graduated from Fairfield Prep and Boston University. He is an instructor at the Real Estate Academy
in Stamford, as well as a realtor with Weichert. His parents are Catherine and Charles Nedder of Darien.

Following a honeymoon in Barbados, the couple reside in Riverside.
