Sparks flew when Jennifer Lyn Lanzarone met Ian Scott Lindsay on the Fourth of July in Nantucket in 2005. The couple carried out a long distance relationship between Greenwich and Chicago for seven months, missing only one weekend together when Jennifer was in Miami at the MTV Video Music Awards on business and Ian’s flight
was cancelled when Hurricane Katrina hit the Florida coast.

After exchanging wedding vows at St. Mary Church on Greenwich Avenue with the Reverend Richard Gemza officiating, the newlyweds arrived by boat for their wedding reception at Indian Harbor Yacht Club. Following cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while listening to a steel-drum band, guests enjoyed a formal dinner and dancing; they left the reception with favors of assorted truffles and sweets handmade by the bride’s mother, a professional chef.

The bride, daughter of Maura and Frank Lanzarone of Riverside and Eatonton, Georgia, graduated from Greenwich High School and Boston College. She is the Director of Sales Development for Cosmopolitan magazine.

The groom, son of Mary and Les Lindsay of Vero Beach, Florida, graduated from East Grand Rapids High School
and Wittenberg University.
