Kristina Berlin & Nicolas Rossi
Kristina Nicole Berlin and Nicolas Alejandro Rossi were three years apart as students at Greenwich High School, but when the two met as adults in town, she could hardly believe that Nick, as he is known, was an airline pilot like her father. In fact, she made him show her his license before she believed him. The two began dating even though they lived halfway across the country from each other — Nicolas worked as a pilot for Northwest Airlines in Detroit and Kristina worked for S. L. Green Realty Corporation in Stamford. Nick proposed to Kristina at Blue Hill at Stone Barns where the staff erupted into cheers and popped the Champagne. The couple was married at the First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich with the Reverend Dr. William A. Evertsberg officiating. A reception followed at Innis Arden Golf Club.
The bride, daughter of Lois and Martin Berlin of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School and Bates College. She is pursuing a master’s of fine arts degree in creative writing at Antioch University. She is a freelance writer and substitute teacher.
The groom, son of Indrani and Alan Rossi of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School and is pursuing a degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a captain with Northwest Airlink.
Following a honeymoon on St. John’s in the Virgin Islands, the couple lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
