Caroline Bekton-Barre & Nicholas Greisen

 A chance meeting of two old high school classmates, Caroline Frances Bekton-Barre and Blair Otto, on Round Hill Road one morning led to a party invitation in New York City that Caroline almost didn’t accept. Busy finalizing a move to Los Angeles, she had no time for romance; it was the last thing on her mind. Blair, part of the marketing team for the New York Giants at the time, introduced the aspiring actress to Nicholas Arnold Greisen, a linebacker for the Giants. Blair knew she had scored a touchdown when the couple embarked on a two-year long-distance relationship!
Father John Connor performed the Nuptial Mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Palm Beach, Florida. An evening reception followed at The Breakers.

The bride, daughter of Helene Barre and stepdaughter of Per Barre of Greenwich, is also the daughter of Begi Bekton of Nice, France. She graduated from Greenwich High School and Marymount Manhattan College.

The groom, son of Mary and Ronald Greisen of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He was drafted by the New York Giants and played for them for four years. Nick, as he is best known, has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and is currently signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Following a honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos, the couple made their home in Jacksonville, Florida. During football season, they will live in Baltimore.
